[May 30, 2025] - EASYCUBE GASES (Kaili), a leading industrial gas solutions provider, has successfully commissioned and begun gas supply from its state-of-the-art KDON-400/10000 cryogenic air separation unit for Solarspace power's photovoltaic cell manufacturing project in Laos.
Solarspace power, ranked among China's top 3 photovoltaic manufacturers with over 15GW annual production capacity, has chosen Laos as the strategic location for its first overseas PV cell production base. This $1.2 billion project represents a crucial step in China's Belt and Road renewable energy initiative and will become Southeast Asia's largest vertically integrated PV manufacturing complex upon completion.
The commissioned air separation unit features EASYCUBE GASES' proprietary nitrogen generator with high-purity oxygen co-production technology, achieving industry-leading energy efficiency of 0.38kWh/Nm³ for nitrogen production while simultaneously delivering 99.7% pure oxygen - a technological breakthrough that reduces overall energy consumption by 18% compared to conventional systems.
